Watercolours are a beautiful, accessible medium that anyone can learn. Versatile, and far more forgiving than they are given credit for!
In this 5-week course you will learn about different brushes and what they do, how to preserve whites, lift out and create soft edges. We will also experiment with textures using alcohol, rice, dish soap and more. Create 5 landscape paintings by following along, step-by-step, with an experienced artist-tutor. Improve your skill and confidence whilst being inspired by 17th century Dutch Landscape Painters and contemporary landscape artists.
Beginners and returning students will benefit as we explore different scenes and using techniques in new ways.
This course comes with a complimentary e-learning course, available forever, and the opportunity to get certificated.
Amy Letts has been an Artist since she wouldn't let go of the red crayon and melted it all over her parents couch! She has 14 years of teaching experience and is relentlessly positive.
Unlike other Artists who usually settle in to a certain style, Amy is frequently trying new things, with a plethora of styles and techniques under her belt. It's a challenge to find something she hasn't tried!
