Bookmaking Workshop

Bookmaking is a fun and rewarding experience with a take-home, handmade book at the end! Workshop Information: Aimed at beginners, no experience neccessary. You will be guided step-by-step in the process by an expert as well as having visual instructions. All tools are provided - just bring yourself! (Although if you have any special papers, sketcbook pages or decorative paper you'd like to bind into your unique book, please do bring them!) You will learn how to create a hard cover using carboard and add a decorative paper or book-fabric. You will learn hands-on how to create a signatures and sew a text block. Finally you will join these all together to form your unique, one-of-a-kind book! Your Tutor: Amy Letts makes handmake sketchbooks and zines which she sells at the Crafter's Emporium.
