Measures to support accessibility
StART Art Classes takes the following measures to ensure accessibility of StART Art Classes:
- Include accessibility throughout our internal policies.
- Integrate accessibility into our procurement practices.
- Provide continual accessibility training for our staff.
- Assign clear accessibility goals and responsibilities.
Conformance status
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. StART Art Classes is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard.
Additional accessibility considerations
StART Art Classes has experience of teaching blind and vision impared, as well as neurodiverse students.
We appreciate that every person has individual needs. We welcome and encourage you to tell us about any adaptations that would help you.
I use and recommend the 'Read Aloud' browser extension for Chrome (useful if reading is difficult due to eye problems or dyslexia).
I use and recommend the 'Dark Reader' browser extension for light sensitivity.
I use and recommend f.lux for both light sensitivity and insomnia.

We use Pagelayer by Softaculous on this website and have discovered many of the accessibility issues are caused by this software. We are making Softaculous aware in the hopes of working with them to improve accessibility.
