Description
In this SPOOKY 2-hour workshop you will be guided step-by-step through how to paint a bat (out of hell?) with acrylic paint.
You will be taught how to use acrylic paint to create a bat with plenty of life and character! We will be using dry brush to create the cloud background (reccommended halloween colours either black or orange) and how to build up layers and repeating patterns to create a convincing bat. Cute or scary? You decide!
This workshop is aimed at beginners; no experience necessary.
Your teacher, Amy Letts, will possibly be wearing vampire teeth, but she doesn't bite! Happy Halloween!
Materials:
Watercolour Paper, acrylic paint.
All materials are available to borrow. I encourage students to get the materials if they can to enable practise at home.
NOTE: This workshop runs on the same day as SKULL SKETCHING. If you would like to attend both workshops there is a break for dinner at 6PM. You are free to bring your own food and eat in the studio, or make use of the local fish & chip shop or McDonalds.
