Description
StART Drawing and Painting is an art class for Beginners and Improvers to learn art skills and have fun. You will have the opportunity to practise with various art materials to find your favourites, with expert guidance to improve your abilities and confidence. This five-week course is designed to be long enough to see real progress in your abilities.
The classes are hands-on, interactive and student-led. You will have input on the skills you want to develop. Classes are social and flexible.
Week-by-week:
- 1. Art Origins, where did art come from? Mark-making and neolithic art.
- 2. Artistic Identity, who are you and where do you want to be? Art Journalling, future self.
- 3. Style-finder. Medium Play.
- 4. Secrets of the Pros - Tone & Glazing.
- 5. Originality through iteration. Noodling and doodling.
